"Are you hiring?"
We are always accepting applications and will keep them on file for up to 1 year.
"Your website says Small Animal Practice - do you see large dogs such as mastiffs?"
YES! We see all domestic dogs and cats. "Small animal" means we do not see large domestic animals (i.e. horses, sheep, cows).
"Do you see birds/reptiles/amphibians/fish? What about exotic mammals?"
Unfortunately, we are not equipped to see birds, reptiles, amphibians or fish. We will see hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, rabbits, and guinea pigs but may refer to an exotic animal vet for some cases.
"Will you trim my dog/cat/guinea pig/rabbit's nails?"
YES! We will trim nails but we do ask that you have proof of a rabies vaccine for dogs and cats for the safety of our staff. Also, some technicians/assistants are not comfortable with rodent nails so appointment times may vary based on who is available.
"Do you accept volunteers?"
Due to the nature of our work, we are unable to accept volunteers for liability reasons.
Some of our veterinarians are more than happy to allow students to shadow for a day. Individuals shadowing are not allowed to interact with patients or assist technicians/doctors.
"Do you offer discounts?"
We offer 20% off of services (not medication/products) for families who bring 3 or more pets in within the same visit/day. This does NOT include surgical procedures or dental procedures.
Registered therapy dogs & police/rescue dogs are eligible for discounts - documentation to prove active status is required. Please call our office for details.
